Hildegard's is an evening of entertainment produced by impresarios Charles Ruger and Alex McClave and named for the German cabaret legend, Hildegard Knef. A vintage LP of the Teutonic beauty's distinctive Cole Porter renditions brought a longing for the camaraderie and chic of a modern supper club where the ghosts of pre-war Berlin, mid-century Manhattan big bands, and the sounds of today’s international club circuit would collide.

So a concept was born. Thematic evenings, live acts, beguiling spaces; all culminating in a feast for the ears and eyes that transport one to another dimension.

Hildegards.com conveys the experience of the live events and goes beyond. Each edition is a curated and archived “NO.” featuring images, columns, media clips, and highlights of the headlining vocalists, musicians, dancers, and performers.

Hildegard's events are traveling and occur at the discretion of the team. Branded events are also produced for private clients.
